Last year we told you that a Community Mental Health Transformation programme was underway in Gloucestershire. Find out more about progress so far.

Locality Community Partnerships (multi-agency groups including statutory, voluntary and community organisations who come together to discuss the needs of individual patients/service users) have been established in the Forest of Dean and Gloucester. They’re also now being set up in Stroud and Berkeley Vale, and Cheltenham. If you would like to find out how to join an LCP, please email CMHTransformation@ghc.nhs.uk.

The programme has also established a small grants programme for Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations providing services to support adults with serious mental illness within Gloucestershire. There were 24 applications for funding in the first round, with 11 projects selected to benefit. A second round will be publicised soon.
