A national issue involving a GP website supplier is affecting most of the GP practices in Gloucestershire. Patients are currently unable to access affected practice websites and some online services. We are working with practices and partners to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

The disruption is not due to a cyber-attack or a data breach.

GP practices remain open and appointments are unaffected. The disruption affects access to websites and some online services, rather than the availability of GP appointments.

We are asking patients to:

  • Call GP practices if they need to contact the team while affected online services are unavailable.
  • Use NHS 111 online or call 111 if they need urgent medical help.
  • Continue to use the NHS App to manage repeat medications.

Practice teams are likely to receive more telephone calls than usual, and patients may experience longer waits when calling. We are asking patients to bear with teams and treat staff with kindness and respect.
