Information about the services the NHS Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (NHS Gloucestershire) commissions and offers will be made available here as it is produced.  If the information you require is not available here please see how you can make a Freedom of Information request to obtain the information here.

Since April 2008 patients referred by GPs for planned treatment can choose to be seen in any hospital or clinic which can provide NHS standard care, at NHS prices.  The NHS  website has detailed information about every hospital in the UK. This will help you to make a more informed decision about your healthcare.

Information about primary care services in your area (dentists, GPs, pharmacies and opticians) as well as local hospitals and clinics can be found at NHS.uk.

Services for which the authority is entitled to recover a fee together with those fees

NHS Gloucestershire may charge for the release of information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 in certain cases. If the NHS Gloucestershire wishes to charge a fee, we will send a fees notice. NHS Gloucestershire may not send the information until a fee has been received.

Currently, the cost limit for complying with a request or a linked series of requests from the same person or group is set at £450 for the NHS. NHS Gloucestershire may refuse a request if the estimate cost for complying with a request would exceed this limit, or recover the costs of responding to the request. This would only occur in rare circumstances.
