Gloucestershire’s Community Wellbeing Service helps people to live healthier lives, supporting people who may have a lot going in their life, including those with low level mental health and wellbeing needs or people who are finding life lonely and lacking social interaction.

Known as ‘social prescribing’, the service is open to anyone over the age of 16, providing one to one support to find out what is important to that person and connecting them to support in their community.

People are either referred to the service by their GP surgery, or they can refer themselves.

The service is countywide and delivered by five providers who each have a local presence in that district of the County.
